Biography

 

Born in 1981, Perú. Ronald Companoca spent his studies in the School of Arts at the National University of San Agustín in 2002. He has won several awards in painting contests and has exhibited his art in Europe, Central America and in the US.

The style of his art is the magical realism. Mysterious characters, magicians, and conjurers coexist in a playful and timeless space to tell us stories that we only glimpse in our dreams. 

The artist's painting is also characterized by the chiaroscuro technique, like as Rembrandt and Caravaggio, his painting have a limited range of color that invites the viewer to contemplate and immerse themselves in the world created by the artist.
