"CIRCO MAGICO"

The Magic Circus is my latest solo exhibition, a journey into a dreamlike world where imagination, memory, and fantasy come together.
Inspired by the mysterious and poetic atmosphere of the traveling circus, this series brings together harlequins, musicians, jugglers, puppeteers, animals, moons, and wandering characters. They inhabit a world suspended between reality and dreams, where each painting seems to tell a story that has no beginning or end.
Through magical realism, I explore the sense of wonder that we often experience as children and gradually lose as we grow older. For me, the circus becomes a metaphor for life: a place of illusion, transformation, mystery, and constant movement.
In The Magic Circus, I invite the viewer to enter this imaginary universe, rediscover the pleasure of dreaming, and look at the world once again with curiosity and wonder.

The exhibition brings together seventeen paintings that form a universe where the dreamlike and the symbolic intertwine within a deeply personal language. In this series, Ronald Companoca proposes a journey in which his characters inhabitants of a theater suspended between the real and the imaginary engage in dialogue with elements inspired by the culture of Azerbaijan.
